This is a traditional drop sleeve fairisle jumper hand-knitted in Jamieson's of Shetland 4ply yarn.   The jumper is 100cm at the chest, so can be worn snugly by an M size or have a bit of room on a smaller person.   This jumper is not really soft enough to be worn next to the skin, but is wonderfully warm when worn with a single layer underneath.  Shetland makes a fabulous rain coat on drizzly days.  It can be paired beautifully with denim, tweed or even more sophisticated cloths.   The drop sleeve isn't too voluminous so it can fit cleanly under a jacket.
